It's been a crazy year in Business for us. A lot more downs than ups. So we are making some changes in the new year!
First, we are rebranding our business. We will be changing our business name, but not the names or quality materials we already use. We are keeping those! We are also keeping our color scheme.
Second, we are going to switch to a different business model that focuses on the Candle Bar experience both in store and online. Yes, that means you will be able to order a candle bar experience to host in your own home!
In moving to that theme we will also be changing our store shelves from pre made candle inventory to scents and jars. Customers can come in and pick their fragrances, pick their jars, and pick their wicks to make in store or we can make them for you. We will also offer made to order candles online in all of our signature scents.
Third, we will still have specialty items stocked on the shelves for online and in store purchases. This includes carved candles, dessert candles, etc. You will also be able to still come into the Candle Bar and make these items.
Fourth, we will be phasing out of our green glass wax melt jars and switching our wax melt packaging to biodegradable bags. This will lower the wax melt pricing as well. We will no longer offer wax melt refills since the packaging and price will be changing. We will keep wax melts stocked on the shelves due to their popularity.
Fifth, our store hours will change to appointment only Sunday - Friday and taking walk ins on Saturday. In the summer we will be by appointment only Sunday - Thursday and taking walk ins on Friday and Saturday. The hour changes are to help us attend more community events and save on utilities in our store.
Lastly, all items with our old branding and old inventory will be on clearance once we are able to make our branding transition. Sometime in early 2025.
We are making these changes in hopes of saving both us and our customers money and to attempt to keep our brick and mortar going during such a high inflation economy. Sometimes we must pivot and we appreciate all of you hanging in there with us while we do.
Our new name and new jar options will be announced at the beginning of 2025!
